Undergraduate Student
I am an Environmental Studies undergraduate at Wilfrid Laurier University, taking an option in geomatics and a minor in sociology. Through the NSERC USRA I have joined ReSEC to pursue my undergraduate thesis as a research assistant. My research revolves around lake ice phenology of Northwest Territories (NWT), focusing on the major lakes of that area. The analysis is done through a combination of remote sensing and a gridded thermodynamic lake ice model. This research aims to aid in decision-making by providing improved regional impact prediction with the consideration of climate change.
