ReSEC Lab New Study Reveals Decades of Temperature Changes in Over 500 Canadian Lakes

The new study led by ReSEC PhD candidate, Gifty Attiah, publised in Journal of Hydrology: Regional Studies. This study shows a comprehensive analysis of temperature changes in more than 500 lakes in the Northwest Territories, Canada, spanning a remarkable 40-year period. This extensive research, utilizing innovative lake-specific satellite algorithms, marks a significant advancement in environmental science, particularly in the study of climate change and its impact on aquatic ecosystems.
